Patriarchy is an ideology rooted in Christianity; it puts god “the father” at the top of a hierarchal pyramid, with male head of households under him, and women and children at-as the base of the triangle, subservient as masculine “authority” in all spheres of daily life, particularly in work and politics.
Eradicate means to root out, put an end to, stop immediately; like a disease, patriarchy can be smashed, extinguished, forgotten.
